This rattan and velvet lamp is part of our Suave collection. The hanging lamp is shaped like a circus tent with 1 ring made of velvet. This lamp is also available in a yellow version. This Suave lamp is beautiful on its own or mix and match with the other lamps from this collection. The lamps with luxurious velvet are great-looking in daylight. And a real eye-catcher in the evening, when the light is diffused by the rattan weaving and creates a beautiful pattern on the wall and ceiling.

All our Suave lamps are handmade from rattan and velvet. Rattan is a climbing palm or liana that is using trees as support and can grow up to 100 meters long. Most of the existing rattan species grow in the tropical forests of South East Asia, of which 70% in Indonesia. The weaving of rattan into baskets, furniture, and lamps are specialized skills that are taught from parents to children.

The Suave collection has been inspired by existing vintage lamp designs, where our designers have given it a modern and vibrant touch. All our Suave lamps are handmade from natural rattan and high-quality velvet fabric. The looks of the hang lamps are finished with a stylish cloth cord and a black metal ceiling cap.

Maintenance
Besides dusting the shade after some time, normally no maintenance is required.
